Explore forest life this spring

Despite the fact that the UK is blessed with stunning countryside and fascinating wildlife, it seems that many Brits are missing out on the delights that the natural environment has to offer.

This is why - following research showing that 3.5 million adults have not visited the natural environment in the previous year - Forest Holidays has launched an informative resource encouraging Brits to don their walking boots and waterproof coats to explore the UK's forests.

Forestipedia includes in-depth information on the trees and woodland, flora and fauna, birds and bugs, beetles and various creepy crawlies that live in the UK forests and make the environment so rich and diverse.

Mark Henshall, content director of travel at Propellernet said that Forest Holidays has created an exciting and varied platform which will help people explore and discover its woodland.

He added: "Looking forward we’ll be harnessing their expertise to produce inspiring and genuinely informative content such as forest ranger blogs, Q&As with nature experts and cycling and dog-walking maps."
