Get involved with the Isle of Wight Walking Festival

Whether you enjoy taking long hikes in the mountains, rambling through the countryside or just strolling along a coastal path, if you love walking then make sure you take part in this year's Isle of Wight Walking Festival.

Taking place from May 4th - 19th, the festival will include more than 250 walks to suit all abilities, covering some of the most beautiful countryside in the UK.

People of all ages are being encouraged to don their waterproof jackets and walking boots to take part and join in on walks that include a fossil hunting guided tour, the seven hills walk and a walking with alpacas trail.

"We're really excited to be sponsoring the 2013 walking festival" says Ben Roseveare, marketing director from Exodus Travels, which is sponsoring the event.

"From launching a few dedicated Exodus Walks to organising a special evening event to celebrate the best of our overseas walking holidays - we can't wait."
